It was the visitors who came closest to opening the scoring in the opening minutes when Glen Donald's header crashed back off his own crossbar, but we took the lead after 10 minutes when Gav netted at the second attempt after being sent clear by Ryan McLean.

We doubled the lead on the half hour mark when Gav netted again with a close range finish.

The second half was pretty much a non-event with both sides failing to create cleat cut chances.
