This was the last game for Dyce In this years Grill league cup as losing against Montrose Roselea mean't they could not carry on to the quarter finals . It’s was once again a great day for a game. There was only one change from Tuesday nights win at Glentaner Dick was in for the suspended Davidson. It started off at a fast pace although there was nothing to play for but pride it certinaly look liked both teams wanted a win. 30mins in Dyce were the stronger team with the pace and skill of M.Taylor bothering the Stoney deffence . All things were going the way of Dyce when Wallace gave away a penalty by handling the ball in the box . Mackie stepped up to take the penalty he stuck it well into the corner to make it 0-1 . Not long after the penalty Dyce broke up the park playing some good football which resulted in a ball being played across the Stonehaven box which found M Taylor who struck it well past McItosh for the equaliser . HT Dyce 1-1 Stonehaven If the first half was anything but boring we were hoping for the same this half . The game was quite even when Dyce played the ball up the left hand side when there was a ball played through to M.Taylor played in well across the goal where Napier was waiting to make it 2-1 . Dyce did not manage to hold on to the lead as Stonehaven broke up park where Mackie scored once again 2.2 . It looked like the points were going to be shared when Esslemont was taken down in the box for a penalty he stepped up to take and left the keeper no chance 3.2 . It didn’t look like Stonehaven had not much left in there tank . Dyce work the ball up the left hand side when Hutchinson pick the ball up and ran towards goal he struck a peach into the left hand side of the net 4.2
