Scott's thoughts.

Dyce Women are on the road this afternoon as we travel to face Armandale Thistle in the last 16 of the League Cup.

We finished top of our group to qualify for this round but a lack of match action could hamper our chances to reach the last eight but boss Scott Duncan says his players are itching to get back to business and keep up their successful trips to the capital city.

He said "Having only played one game since the end of November, the players are eager to get on the pitch and show what they can do in a cup competition having been successful away from home against Edinburgh South and Edinburgh City in the Scottish Cup."

Unfortunately, some players will miss the tie but Scott is still confident of progressing to the next round.

"We travel down with a few players missing with injury and illness but the squad on Sunday is still strong enough to compete and give Armandale a difficult fixture and hopefully we can come home with our name in the pot for the quarter final draw."

The draw for the last eight will be made on Monday.
