We bowed out of the North Regional Cup after losing on penalties at Hermes.

We twice came from behind to force a penalty shoot-out but the home side prevailed to reach the semi finals.

In a first half of few chances, the post denied the home side while Daniel Agnew came closest for the blue and white hoops.

Hermes took the lead on 53 minutes when Dylan Souden headed into his own net, but we were level moments later when Fergus Alberts scored from the spot after he had been pulled down.

Hermes took advantage of some poor marking from a corner to go back in front with 20 minutes to go but Gavin Byers scored a fine equaliser three minutes from time to take the tie to penalties.

Unfortunately Fergus was unable to replicate his earliers spot kick and the home side scored all five of their kicks to reach the last four.
