The Club are very pleased to announce the appointment of Allan (Alfie) Youngson and Ritchie Clark as our new co-management team with immediate effect.

Following an excellent response to our advertisement of the vacant positions, the club carried out extensive interviews with prospective candidates and are very proud to make these appointments and enter into a new exciting era for the club.

The club would also like to pass on its sincere gratitude to club captain Mark Bartlet, who stepped in to take charge of interim team affairs as a replacement management team was sought. Due to the timing of the appointment, Mark will remain in charge of team matters for this Saturday’s Superleague match away to Culter, but the new management duo will be in attendance to watch over their new charges.

The footballing background to the new co-managers can be summarised as: -

Alfie - Started playing at Dundee, before moves to Peterhead and Inverurie locos, followed by 8 seasons with Superleague rivals Culter. Alfie actually played his last football at Ian Mair Park for a short spell, confirming his earlier decision to retire was right (his words!)

Ritchie – Started a playing career at Cove Rangers followed by stints at Inverurie Locos, Lossiemouth, Banks O’Dee, Stonehaven before finishing up at Hall Russell United. Ritchie had his first experience of coaching at fellow Superleague side Hall Russell after hanging up his boots.

We wish them all the very best and they will of course be supported by an excellent committee and squad of players and here’s to their successful future with the club.
