Preparation is going Well

Lots of work going on behind the scenes this week with the committee to ensure we can give you the best match experience we can.

Davie Cadenhead, committee member and groundsman has been working hard this week getting the pitch ready for the cup match on Saturday
Great work DC.
Did you know?
Dyce Juniors were established in 1989 following the amalgamation of two existing sides, Mugiemoss F.C. (founded 1887) and Rosslyn Sport F.C. (founded 1923 as Rosemount). The merger was spurred by problems both clubs faced concerning their home grounds. The Linksfield Stadium facility in Aberdeen, which Mugiemoss shared with two other sides, Lewis United and Parkvale, was due to undergo redevelopment, reducing the number of pitches available. Rosslyn Sport were struggling to maintain their own Rosslyn Park ground in Dyce. With both sides wishing to retain their own name, a compromise of Dyce Juniors was chosen and the club set up at Rosslyn Park. The club still keeps its links to Muggiemoss. With the black and white 2nd kit being their old colours.
The ground was remained Ian Mair Park in recognition of the work done in establishing
Dyce.
Our honorary Chairman Norman Mackay. Has been associated with Muggiemoss/Dyce for over 60 years.
Great shift Norman

See you Saturday Guys
